Does Gemini cost extra in Google Workspace?
Short answer
No extra charge for the basics. Gemini is now included in Google Workspace business plans: Business Starter gets Gemini in Gmail and the Gemini app, and Business Standard and above add Gemini in Docs, Sheets, Meet and more. Google lists Starter at $7 and Standard at $14 per user a month on flexible billing.

Google showed these in US dollars on its UK pricing page on 17 October 2026, with a discounted introductory rate for new customers' first 20 users for 12 months. The final price, in your billing currency, shows before you complete sign-up. Prices exclude VAT.
Google also sells an "AI expanded access" add-on for heavier use of automations, image and video generation and real-time translation.
Personal Google accounts
If you use a free Gmail address, the Gemini app is free, with paid Google AI plans for more. In the UK App Store, Google AI Plus is £4.49, Google AI Pro £18.99 and Google AI Ultra £189.99 a month. See is Google Gemini free?
