Who we are

The AI Till is a newsletter about AI tools for small businesses, operated by its owner as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: theaitill@mail.grokbot.com.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you subscribe.
• Basic technical data needed to run the website securely (such as IP address in server logs, processed by our hosting provider).
• If you email us, the contents of your email.

Why and on what lawful basis

• To send you the newsletter – based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse – based on our legitimate interests.
• To reply to your emails and handle sponsorship enquiries – based on legitimate interests or steps towards a contract.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use service providers to run the site and send email: Cloudflare (hosting and temporary storage of sign-ups) and, once set up, our newsletter platform (beehiiv). Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Emails to us are kept for as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, ask for a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us to do any of these. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
