AI review tools for cleaning businesses in the UK
Cleaning is a trust purchase: customers are handing over keys. Reviews that mention reliability, honesty and the same cleaner each week are what new customers look for. Because you see regular clients often, the risk isn't too few chances to ask; it's asking at an awkward moment or asking too often.
Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.
Who to ask and when
Ask regular clients once, after the first few visits when they're happy with the routine, and one-off customers straight after an end-of-tenancy or deep clean. Send your Google review link or QR code (Google). For commercial contracts, ask your contact by email rather than staff on site.
No freebies for reviews
A free extra clean for a review might seem harmless, but Google bans offering discounts or free services for reviews (Google), and UK law bans concealed incentivised reviews (CMA). Google can stop a profile receiving new reviews for a set time if it finds fake engagement (Google).
Replying to complaints
Cleaning complaints are usually about a missed area or a breakage. Reply quickly, say you'll come back to put it right, and take the detail offline. ChatGPT can draft a calm first version; edit it before posting.

Questions
Can I offer a discount for a Google review?
No. Google's policy bans offering payment, discounts or free goods or services for reviews, and UK law since April 2025 bans concealed incentivised reviews. Ask every customer, with no reward.
Can my cleaners ask clients for reviews?
Yes, as long as they ask every client and don't pressure them. Google doesn't allow businesses to set staff targets for a number of reviews.
Are these prices in pounds?
Not all. Where a provider only publishes US dollar prices we show dollars, so check the price in pounds at checkout.
Do you get paid if I sign up?
