AI social media tools for electricians in the UK

An electrician's best social content is evidence of neat, safe work: a tidy consumer unit, an EV charger installed with the cable run hidden, a garden lighting job at dusk. Customers can't judge the wiring, but they can judge whether you care how it looks. The tools here help you turn job photos into regular posts without losing your evenings.

Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.

Posts that win work

Before-and-after consumer unit swaps, EV charger and outdoor lighting installs, and short safety tips (why you shouldn't overload extension leads) are easy to make from photos you already take. Canva and Adobe Express both have free plans with templates.

Scheme logos and claims

Government-authorised competent person schemes for electrical work include NICEIC (Certsure) and NAPIT (GOV.UK). Show their logos only while your registration is current, because misusing a trust mark is banned outright under UK consumer law (CMA). Don't let an AI writing tool add accreditations you don't hold.

Scheduling posts

Write a month of posts in one sitting and schedule them. Buffer is free for up to 3 channels and includes Google Business Profile as a channel; Essentials was $5 a month per channel billed yearly when checked on 15 October 2026.

A prompt to start with

Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude, filling in the brackets:

Write four social posts for [business name], an electrician in [town], from these job notes: [paste]. One before-and-after, one EV charger install, one safety tip, one 'meet the team'. Plain British English, no hype, no claims about accreditation unless I list them here: [list]. Under 60 words each.

Questions

How many posts a week should I do?

There's no official number. Pick a rate you can keep up, such as one finished job a week, and use a scheduler such as Buffer (free for up to 3 channels when checked on 15 October 2026) so it goes out while you're working.

Should I post prices?

Only if you can honour them. Fixed-price small jobs (such as a socket move) can work; for anything that depends on the property, say 'from' and explain what changes the price.

Are these prices in pounds?

Not all. Where a provider only publishes US dollar prices we show dollars, so check the price in pounds at checkout.

Do you get paid if I sign up?

Some links may become affiliate links, and we'll label them when they do. It doesn't change what we list. See how we make money.
