AI social media tools for pest controllers in the UK

Pest control content is naturally seasonal and useful: how to spot early signs of mice, why wasp nests grow in late summer, how to keep bins from attracting rats. People save and share it. It also builds the trust that matters when someone needs a technician in their home.

Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.

Seasonal, practical posts

Draft posts on signs to look for and simple prevention with ChatGPT, then check every claim yourself. Don't recommend professional products to the public: professional pesticides need a recognised certificate (HSE).

Photos without customers

Close-ups of proofing work, bait stations and entry points are more useful and safer than anything that identifies a home or business. Canva and Adobe Express have free plans with templates.

Badges and claims

Show trade association logos only while you're a member; misusing a trust mark is banned outright (CMA). Schedule posts with Buffer, free for up to 3 channels when checked on 14 October 2026.

A prompt to start with

Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude, filling in the brackets:

Write five short social posts for [business name], a pest control firm in [town]: early signs of mice in autumn, how to keep bins from attracting rats, what to do if you find a wasp nest, a proofing-work photo caption, and one introducing [name]. Plain British English, no scare tactics, no product recommendations, under 60 words each.

Questions

How many posts a week should I do?

There's no official number. Pick a rate you can keep up, such as one finished job a week, and use a scheduler such as Buffer (free for up to 3 channels when checked on 15 October 2026) so it goes out while you're working.

Can I recommend products in posts?

Stick to prevention advice. Professional products need a certificate, so don't suggest them to the public.

Are these prices in pounds?

Not all. Where a provider only publishes US dollar prices we show dollars, so check the price in pounds at checkout.

Do you get paid if I sign up?

Some links may become affiliate links, and we'll label them when they do. It doesn't change what we list. See how we make money.
