AI receptionist tools for tilers and flooring fitters in the UK
Tilers and flooring fitters don't get many emergencies, but they do get lots of quote requests that need measurements and photos. A receptionist that gathers room sizes, surfaces and the customer's tile choice saves a visit on small jobs.
Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.
Measurements and photos
Ask the room, rough size in square metres, current surface (old tiles, boards, screed), whether the customer has bought tiles or flooring, and for photos.
Builder and kitchen-fitter work
A lot of tiling comes through builders and kitchen or bathroom fitters. Put them on a list for a quick message rather than the customer questions.
Flooring and CIS
If you fit flooring for contractors, note that GOV.UK lists carpet fitting among jobs not covered by CIS (GOV.UK). Take the contractor's details so the invoice is right.
