AI scheduling tools for window cleaners in the UK
A window cleaning round is a schedule: hundreds of homes on four-, six- or eight-weekly cycles, grouped by street, with rain days that knock the whole round back. Scheduling software keeps cycles on track automatically, re-plans after bad weather, and tells customers when you're coming so they can leave gates open.
Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.
Rounds as recurring jobs
Set each customer up on their cycle as a recurring job and group them by street. ServiceM8 includes recurring jobs on all plans and is priced by jobs a month; Jobber lists online booking and, on its Connect plan, automated client reminders (checked 15 October 2026).
Work at height in the plan
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 apply to employers and anyone who controls work at height (HSE). HSE says ladders can be a sensible option for low-risk, short-duration tasks but shouldn't automatically be the first choice (HSE). Recording which properties need a ladder and which can be done from the ground with a water-fed pole helps plan staff and kit for each day.
Rain days and staff
When a day's lost, push the round rather than cramming it. If you employ cleaners, travel between jobs counts as working time for minimum wage purposes (GOV.UK), so tight street grouping matters.

What to check before you choose
- Recurring jobs on every plan, and can you pause a cycle without deleting it?
- Can you shift a whole day and text every customer?
- Can you note access (gates, dogs, ladder needed) on each property?
- Per-job pricing (ServiceM8) usually suits rounds with many small jobs.
- Can customers pay online after each clean?
A prompt to start with
Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude, filling in the brackets:
You plan the round for [business name], a window cleaner in [area]. Here are the customers with street, cycle (4, 6 or 8 weeks), last clean date and access notes: [paste]. Build next week's plan grouped by street, show what moves if [day] is rained off, and write a short text telling customers when we're coming.

Questions
