AI review tools for removal firms in the UK

Moving house is stressful, and people choosing a removals firm read reviews closely: did the crew turn up on time, was anything broken, and was the price what they were quoted? A few detailed, recent reviews that answer those questions do more than any advert. The best time to ask is when the customer has unpacked and calmed down.

Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.

Ask a day or two after the move

On move day people are exhausted. A short message a day or two later, with your Google review link or QR code (Google), gets a more thoughtful review.

No discounts for reviews

Google bans discounts, payment or free work for reviews, and asking only the customers you expect to be happy (Google). UK law since April 2025 bans fake reviews and concealed incentivised reviews (CMA), and the CMA can fine up to 10% of global turnover (CMA).

Damage complaints

If a review mentions damage, reply calmly, say how to make a claim, and take the detail offline. Never post the customer's old or new address. ChatGPT can draft a first version of a reply; edit it before posting.

A prompt to start with

Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude, filling in the brackets:

Write a short message to [customer name] two days after their move from [area] to [area]. Hope they're settling in, remind them how to report any damage ([process]), and ask if they'd leave an honest Google review here: [link]. Under 300 characters, British spelling, no incentive.

Questions

Can I offer a discount for a Google review?

No. Google's policy bans offering payment, discounts or free goods or services for reviews, and UK law since April 2025 bans concealed incentivised reviews. Ask every customer, with no reward.

How do I reply to a review about a broken item?

Apologise for the experience, explain how claims work, and invite them to contact you directly. Keep it factual.

Are these prices in pounds?

Not all. Where a provider only publishes US dollar prices we show dollars, so check the price in pounds at checkout.

Do you get paid if I sign up?

Some links may become affiliate links, and we'll label them when they do. It doesn't change what we list. See how we make money.
