AI review tools for hair and beauty salons in the UK

Clients choose a salon on how other people looked and felt when they left: the colour matched the picture, the stylist listened, the appointment ran on time. Reviews on Google and on your booking app answer those questions. Clients see you every few weeks, so there are plenty of natural chances to ask.

Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.

Ask at checkout, every time

The best moment is at payment, when the client has just seen the result. A QR code at the desk for your Google review link (Google) or the booking app's automatic follow-up does the job. Ask every client, not only regulars you know are happy.

No freebies for reviews

Google bans discounts, payment or free treatments for reviews, and asking only happy clients (Google). A 'free fringe trim for a five-star review' offer breaks both Google's policy and, since April 2025, UK law if the incentive is hidden (CMA).

Discreet replies

Don't name the treatment in a reply if it's personal, such as hair removal or skin treatments. Thank the client, keep it general and take complaints offline. ChatGPT can draft a calm first reply; edit it before posting.

Questions

Can I offer a discount for a Google review?

No. Google's policy bans offering payment, discounts or free goods or services for reviews, and UK law since April 2025 bans concealed incentivised reviews. Ask every customer, with no reward.

Should I reply to every review?

It helps, especially to complaints. Keep replies short and never mention a client's treatment if it's personal.

Are these prices in pounds?

Not all. Where a provider only publishes US dollar prices we show dollars, so check the price in pounds at checkout.

Do you get paid if I sign up?

Some links may become affiliate links, and we'll label them when they do. It doesn't change what we list. See how we make money.
