Can more than one person use ChatGPT Plus?
Short answer
No. ChatGPT Plus is designed for one person. OpenAI's pricing page says Free, Go and Plus "are designed to be used by individuals", and its terms prohibit sharing account credentials. You can use one Plus subscription on all your own devices. For two or more people, ChatGPT Business starts at two users.
One person, many devices: fine
OpenAI says you can use the same subscription across devices when you sign in to the same ChatGPT account. You don't need a separate subscription for your phone, laptop and tablet.
Several people, one login: not allowed
OpenAI's help centre says "sharing account credentials, reselling access and automatically extracting data are prohibited" and that it may restrict accounts for misuse. Sharing also mixes everyone's chats, memory and settings, so one person's customer details can turn up in another person's history.

Can I use ChatGPT Plus on my phone and laptop?
Yes. Sign in to the same account on each device. If you bought Plus through the App Store or Google Play, use "Restore purchases" in the app if it doesn't show.
Can my family use my ChatGPT Plus?
No. Plus is for one person. Each family member can use the free plan on their own account.
Is there a cheaper plan for two people?
Not for individuals. Business is the smallest multi-user plan and is priced per seat with a two-seat minimum.
