AI social media tools for joiners and carpenters in the UK

Joinery photographs well: bespoke wardrobes, oak staircases, sash windows brought back to life. Workshop clips, from rough timber to finished piece, get attention because most customers have never seen how it's made. These tools help you turn phone photos and short videos into regular posts without losing your evenings.

Prices were re-checked on each provider's own page; the date is next to each one. Rules and figures from GOV.UK are linked where they're used.

Show the making

A short clip of a joint being cut or a door being hung explains your price better than any advert. Opus Clip can cut a long workshop video into short clips (free plan with limited credits; checked 14 October 2026), and Canva's free plan has before-and-after templates.

Captions without the guesswork

Draft captions with ChatGPT from your own job notes: the timber, the finish, the problem you solved. Check every detail; an AI draft can invent a species or a finish you didn't use. Schedule a month of posts with Buffer, free for up to 3 channels when checked on 14 October 2026.

Badges and testimonials

Show scheme or trade association logos only while your membership is current; misusing a trust mark is banned outright (CMA). If you share a customer's words, use genuine reviews with permission and don't change their meaning (CMA).

Questions

How many posts a week should I do?

There's no official number. Pick a rate you can keep up, such as one finished job a week, and use a scheduler such as Buffer (free for up to 3 channels when checked on 15 October 2026) so it goes out while you're working.

Should I show workshop videos?

Yes, if it's safe and tidy. Make sure guards are in place in the shot; a video of unsafe practice does more harm than good.

Are these prices in pounds?

Not all. Where a provider only publishes US dollar prices we show dollars, so check the price in pounds at checkout.

Do you get paid if I sign up?

Some links may become affiliate links, and we'll label them when they do. It doesn't change what we list. See how we make money.
