How much is QuickBooks a month in the UK?
Short answer
QuickBooks Online costs £10 (Sole Trader Plus), £16 (Simple Start), £38 (Essentials), £56 (Plus) or £123 (Advanced) a month excluding VAT, according to Intuit's UK pricing page (checked 18 October 2026). New customers were offered 90% off for six months. All plans are MTD-ready for Income Tax, and every plan except Sole Trader Plus files VAT.

Which plan do I need?
- Sole trader, not VAT registered: Sole Trader Plus covers MTD for Income Tax and Self Assessment.
- VAT registered or doing CIS: Simple Start is the cheapest plan that submits VAT returns.
- Paying suppliers, several users: Essentials.
- Stock and project costing: Plus.
Does QuickBooks use AI?
