How much does Apple Intelligence cost?
Short answer
Apple Intelligence is free. It comes with the 27 software updates on eligible devices, such as iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 and later, and M1 iPads and Macs. Features that run on Apple's servers, such as Siri AI and Image Playground, have daily limits. Apple says expanded access to those features "will be available for a fee in the future".
Which devices get it
Apple lists iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone Air, iPad mini (A17 Pro), iPads and Macs with M1 or later, MacBook Neo, Apple Vision Pro, and recent Apple Watch models paired with an eligible iPhone. You also need the 27 software release, enough free storage (up to 8 GB on most devices) and your device and Siri languages set to the same supported language.
What's free and what's limited

When you hit a limit, the feature comes back after a time-out. Apple hasn't announced a price for extra use yet.
Useful for a small business?
Yes, for small jobs: summarising long emails, tidying a quote in Writing Tools, transcribing a voice note, or Live Translation on a call with a customer who speaks another language. For bigger writing jobs, a full assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude does more. The ChatGPT extension in Apple Intelligence is optional.
