Terms

Terms of sale

Plain-English terms for buying digital products from The AI Till. Last updated 25 October 2026.

Who we are

Products on theaitill.com are sold by James Gornall, trading as The AI Till, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. James also writes under the public name James Gonzo. You can contact us at hello@theaitill.com. We reply to emails within two working days.

Address: 2 High Street, Morland, Penrith, Cumbria, CA10 3AS, United Kingdom

What we sell

We sell digital downloads: printable PDFs, spreadsheet templates (delivered as a link to your own copy in Google Sheets) and packs of prompts and templates, such as the Trades Pack. Nothing is posted to you. Each product page says exactly what is included.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and are as shown on the product page and at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay: it includes any tax due, and there are no delivery charges or extra fees. Every product is a one-off payment, not a subscription. Payment is taken by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details. For now we sell to buyers in the UK only, which is why checkout asks for a UK address. Nothing is posted to it.

Delivery

Delivery is instant. After payment your download page opens straight away, and we also email the download link from hello@theaitill.com. If the email has not arrived after an hour, check your spam folder, then write to us and we will send it again. The links keep working, so keep the email. The email also confirms your order, the seller details, and your agreement to immediate download described below.

What you can do with the files

You can use the files for yourself and your own business, and print as many copies as you need for that. Please do not resell, share or redistribute them, or use them for commercial printing. For Google Sheets products, please make your own copy and do not ask for edit access to the original.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days from the day after you buy digital content to cancel the contract without giving a reason.

When the right to cancel ends. Our products are downloads that become available straight after payment. At checkout we ask you to agree to the terms, to confirm that you expressly consent to your download starting immediately, and to acknowledge that you lose your legal right to cancel once it starts. Once you have given that consent and acknowledgement and your download has become available to you, which happens straight after payment, your legal right to cancel ends. If we have not asked for this consent, or you did not give it, you keep the full 14 days.

This does not change our refund promise. Separately from your legal right to cancel, we give a 14-day money-back promise on every product, described under Refunds. It stays available after your download has started, and it does not affect your other legal rights.

Model instructions for cancelling

Right to cancel. You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you bought the product.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement, for example an email to hello@theaitill.com, or a letter sent to us by post at the address in the Who we are section. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your message before the cancellation period expires.

Effects of cancellation. If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision to cancel. We will make the refund using the same means of payment you used for the purchase, and you will not pay any fee for the refund. We will acknowledge your cancellation by email without delay.

If you asked for immediate download. If you gave your express consent and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel, and your download then started, you can no longer cancel under this right (see above), although our 14-day refund promise still applies.

Model cancellation form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to cancel the contract.

To The AI Till, James Gornall, 2 High Street, Morland, Penrith, Cumbria, CA10 3AS, United Kingdom, email hello@theaitill.com:

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following digital content: [name of product].

Ordered on [date of purchase].

Name of consumer: [your name].

Address of consumer: [your address].

Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper): [signature].

Date: [date].

Refunds

If a product is not useful to you, email hello@theaitill.com within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full. This applies whether or not you have downloaded it, including after your legal right to cancel has ended, and you do not need to give a reason. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually reach you within 5 to 10 working days.

This is on top of your legal rights, which it does not change. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a file is faulty or is not as described, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, if that cannot fix it, a price reduction or refund. Write to us and we will put it right.

Not tax, legal or financial advice

Our trackers, templates, calculators, guides and prompts are record-keeping and information tools. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and they are not approved or endorsed by HMRC or any other authority. Rates, thresholds and dates are taken from GOV.UK as checked on the date shown on each page, and they can change. Check GOV.UK or ask a qualified adviser about your own situation. AI-generated answers can be wrong, so check them before you use them.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our liability to you for a product is limited to the price you paid for it.

Your data

We keep your email address, name, billing details, what you bought, the date and the amount you paid, and a record of your agreement to the terms and to immediate download, so that we can deliver the product, answer questions, handle refunds, and keep the business records the law requires. We only add you to our free daily email if you ask us to. See the privacy notice for the details.

Some pages on this site contain affiliate links, which are labelled. Read how we make money. Our own products are always labelled as ours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use the courts where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The terms in force when you buy are the ones that apply to your purchase.
