Does Otter AI work with Teams, Zoom and Google Meet?
Short answer
Yes. Otter Notetaker automatically joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings once you connect your Google or Microsoft calendar, then records, transcribes and summarises them. For in-person meetings, record on the Otter phone or desktop app. Otter's Notetaker help page doesn't list Webex, so record those another way and import the audio.

Things to know
- Notetaker appears as a visible participant, such as "[Name]'s Notetaker (Otter.ai)". It can't join anonymously.
- Your organisation must allow guest participants.
- It leaves after 12 minutes of silence.

Can Otter AI translate?
Otter transcribes English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, with German and Chinese in beta. It does not translate live, but you can ask Otter Chat to translate a transcript (checked 18 October 2026).
Can Otter AI tell speakers apart?
Yes. Otter groups voices by speaker automatically and learns names once you tag a speaker. It works best when people speak one at a time on good microphones.
