How much does Otter.ai cost?
Short answer
Otter.ai has a free Basic plan with 300 transcription minutes a month. Otter's pricing page lists Pro at $16.99 per user a month, or $8.33 a month billed yearly, and Business at $30 a month on monthly billing. In the UK App Store, Pro is £99.99 a year and Business £229.99 a year (checked 17 October 2026).

Otter's page also showed a lower first-year offer for new subscribers. Prices on the website are in US dollars, so your card statement will vary.
Is the free plan enough?
For a few customer calls or site meetings a week, often yes. Pay for Pro if you record long meetings or import recordings regularly. Remember Otter can't record ordinary phone calls on your mobile: see can Otter record phone calls?
