Is Canva AI safe to use?
Short answer
Generally, yes. Canva says it won't use your content to improve its AI features unless your privacy settings allow it, and you can change those settings at any time. Content from Canva Teams, Business, Enterprise and Education accounts "is not used to improve AI-powered features, and this cannot be turned on".

Canva says it also uses general usage data, meaning how people use Canva rather than your designs, to build AI features, again subject to your settings.
What to check
- Your privacy settings. Open your Canva account settings, then the privacy controls, and decide whether your content and activity can improve AI features.
- Third-party apps. Apps inside Canva that use AI follow their own privacy terms, not Canva's.
- What you upload. Don't upload photos of customers or their homes without permission, whatever the setting says.
