Fyxer review (UK, 2026): price, free plan, privacy and alternatives

This Fyxer review is for UK small business owners, tradespeople and sole traders wondering whether an AI inbox assistant is worth paying for. Fyxer connects to Gmail or Outlook, sorts your inbox into categories, drafts replies in your tone for you to check and send, and takes notes in your video meetings. Prices and features below come from Fyxer's pricing page and security page, read on 17 October 2026.

How we wrote this: we haven't run Fyxer on a busy inbox, so this is a review of what it offers, what it costs and the catches, based on its own published pages, not a hands-on test. We don't have an affiliate link for Fyxer, and we'd say so if we did.

The short version

• Free plan: $0 with 400 credits a month, enough for about 20 chat messages or 6 hours 40 minutes of meeting recording. Drafted replies and inbox sorting aren't included.
• Pro: $49 per person a month paying monthly, or $37 a month billed annually. This is where drafted replies and automatic sorting start.
• Team: $99 per person a month paying monthly, or $64 billed annually, with credits pooled across the team.
• Launch offer when we checked: unlimited credits for the first 3 months on Pro and Team, then 3,000 credits a month per Pro member or 6,000 per Team member.
• Trial: 14 days of Pro, then you drop to the Free plan unless you pay.
• Prices are in US dollars, so the cost in pounds moves with the exchange rate.

What it costs a UK small business

Inbox sorting uses credits at 5 emails per credit, including sorting old emails, according to the pricing page. When credits run out, Fyxer says metered actions pause until renewal. For a sole trader, Pro billed annually is $444 a year before any currency or card fees.

Is it worth it? Work out how many hours a week you spend on email. If Pro saves even an hour or two a week, it may pay for itself; our AI tool break-even calculator does the sum. If you get a handful of emails a day, a free assistant and a few saved replies will do most of the job.

What it does well

• Drafts replies in your tone for you to check, edit and send. Nothing goes out without you.
• Sorts your inbox into categories so the emails that need you are at the top. Fyxer says it learns from your corrections.
• Meeting notes from video calls, with follow-ups. Fyxer says attendees can decline, and it won't join if they do.
• Works with Gmail and Outlook, and a seat covers one person however many inboxes they connect.
• Easy to undo: Fyxer says your inbox reverts to how it was if you delete your account.

The catches

• The useful features are paid. The free plan doesn't draft replies or sort your inbox, so the trial is the real test.
• US dollar pricing and per-person seats add up for a team.
• Credits matter after the offer. Check how many emails you get a month against 3,000 credits (about 15,000 sorted emails at 5 per credit) before you commit.
• You still have to check every draft. AI drafts can get facts, prices or tone wrong.
• Data location: choosing where your data is stored (EU, UK or US) is listed as an Enterprise feature.

Privacy and GDPR

Fyxer says it is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, that your data is never used to train third-party AI models, and that you can opt out of Fyxer's own model training (Fyxer security, Fyxer pricing FAQ). Those are its claims; we haven't audited them.

As a UK business you're still responsible for your customers' data. Before you connect your inbox:

1. Check Fyxer's data processing terms and whether you need a data processing agreement.
2. Mention AI email tools in your privacy notice.
3. Turn off model training if you don't want your emails used to improve Fyxer.
4. Tell people when a meeting is being recorded.

Fyxer alternatives

How to try it without wasting money

1. Start the 14-day trial with Gmail or Outlook, on a week with normal email volume.
2. Count the drafts you send with little or no editing, and the minutes you save.
3. Check the sorting caught the emails that matter, and correct the ones it didn't.
4. Turn off model training if you want, and read the data terms.
5. Only pay if it saved enough time; otherwise let it drop back to the Free plan.
