How much does Claude cost in the UK?
Short answer
Claude is free to use, with usage limits that reset every five hours. Anthropic's pricing page lists Pro at $20 a month billed monthly, or $17 a month on a yearly plan ($200 up front), and Max from $100 a month. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax, so the amount on your card will vary.

Anthropic says paid plans also have weekly limits, and when you hit a limit you can wait, upgrade, or turn on usage credits at API rates.
What a UK business actually pays
Anthropic shows dollar prices that "don't include applicable tax". Your bank converts the charge, so check the final amount at checkout and on your statement. If you buy for the business, keep the invoice: subscriptions you use for work can be an allowable expense (see can I claim ChatGPT as a business expense?, which applies in the same way to Claude).
Is Pro worth it?
Stay on Free if you use Claude a few times a week for emails and summaries. Pay for Pro if you regularly paste long contracts, tenders or policies and run out of messages mid-task. Put the monthly cost and the hours it saves into the AI tool break-even calculator before you commit.
