British spelling. Don't invent exceptions beyond: [list, e.g. sealed cosmetics, perishable].

Distance contracts for goods usually include a 14-day cancellation right; information and refund duties are in the Consumer Contracts Regulations (CCR 2013; GOV.UK: cancel online order). FAQ

When does the 14-day cancellation clock start for goods?

Usually when the goods are received (with details in the regulations). Give clear cancellation information at checkout and in confirmations.

Can I refuse returns on sale items?

You can set a change-of-mind policy, but faulty or not-as-described goods still have CRA rights. Distance-selling cancellation is separate from your sale-label policy.
