Is Grok free to use?
Short answer
Partly. Grok offers limited free access on grok.com and in its iPhone and Android apps, and paid SuperGrok plans unlock more. In the UK App Store, the listed in-app purchases are SuperGrok Lite at £10, SuperGrok at £30, SuperGrok Plus at £100 and SuperGrok Heavy at £300 (checked 17 October 2026). The app shows the billing period at checkout.
Free vs paid
Grok's consumer FAQ says that, depending on your location, "limited free access and paid subscription plans with full features of Grok unlocked are available". The company doesn't publish the exact free limits, so you find them by using it.

The app also sells extra usage credits from £5. Grok inside X is covered by X's own plans and terms.
Is it worth paying for?
For a small business, compare it with what you may already have for similar money: ChatGPT Plus at £19.99, Claude Pro at £20 or Perplexity Pro at £20 in the UK App Store. Before you put any business information into it, read is Grok safe?, because training on your chats is on unless you turn it off.
